Privacy policy

Tradie Reviews is run by Your Future Site (Byron Mills, sole trader, ABN 38 686 128 208), which builds websites for Australian small businesses. This page says what the site collects and what happens to it. It is short because the site collects little.

When you make a review page

We keep what you type into the form: your business name, trade, suburb, the Google link or Place ID you paste, and your email address. The Google link is turned into the address behind the "Leave a Google review" button and stored with the page. Your email is never shown on the page. We use it to contact you about your page, and to get your links back to you if you lose them. We do not sell it or pass it on.

Your business name, trade and suburb are public: they are on your review page and your sticker, which is the point of them.

When a customer sends private feedback

The message, the name or number the customer chose to leave (optional), the page it was sent to and the time are stored so you can read them on your private inbox page. Nothing about the customer is collected beyond what they type. Private feedback is not published anywhere and is not sent to Google. We do not delete it; you can ask us to.

A customer who taps "Leave a Google review" goes to Google. From there Google's own privacy policy applies, not this one.

When you ask to hear about Plus or the course

We keep the email address you give, which product you asked about and the time. You will get one email when that product is ready. Reply to it if you want the address removed.

Where it is kept

Everything above is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database and the site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any host, Cloudflare records basic request logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to run the service; we do not use those to identify anyone.

What we do not do

No analytics script, no advertising pixels and no cookies. The review page your customers see is identical for every visitor and keys nothing on who is looking.

Your details, your call

To see, correct or delete anything we hold about you or your business, contact Your Future Site through yourfuturesite.com.au. Deleting a review page also deletes its private feedback.
